Henry Toller-Bond presented Book Vouchers, donated by Port Fairy's Iron Bird Bookshop, to the 3 winners at assembly on Friday 20th November at St.Pat's School.��He also presented 40 certificates to be handed out to all students who entered the competition for the Moyneyana Festival Program cover, with the theme "Astronomy-the Universe - Yours to Discover". �

He praised the 40 entries from St Pat's, saying "this is what Port Fairy is all about helping each other".� He also hoped they would attend events during the Festival, reminding the children that Santa would visit Port Fairy's Village Green on Christmas Eve, the start of Moyneyana Festival.

These youngsters are the future of our very supportive Community of Port Fairy.

The Moyneyana Festival Committee would like to thank all the Sponsors for their wonderful support.� Without you there would be no Festival; their generous support goes to finance the New Year's Eve Firework Display, Christmas Decorations, Bud Lighting, and Activities, all coordinated & put up by members of the Committee & the Port Fairy Community. �But for this generous support there would not be so many Free Activities.

Members of Port Fairy's Men's Shed will be conducting a raffle that will be drawn on Australia Day to raise funds to equip their newly erected Shed at the Port Fairy Show grounds.

We have two outdoor movies planned to be screened during the Festival on the Village Green at dusk, "Strictly Ballroom" & "E.T", as well as a movie program at the Reardon Theatre.

The Moyneyana Committee will soon start on their Annual Raffle, to help cover insurance costs; Traders & Port Fairy Community organisations again have been generous donators of Prizes, this will also be drawn on Australia Day.
