The 64th MOYNEYANA FESTIVAL 2011 - 2012

Our theme this year 2011/2012 is 'Carnivale'

We hope it will encourage both visitors and residents to get together and participate in the Festival and have fun.

This is your opportunity to relax and enjoy what Port Fairy has to offer over this summer holiday period. If you are a new-comer to Port Fairy explore our beautiful town and, when you return home refreshed, spread the word of your experiences in the picturesque South West.

Port Fairy is the Jewel in the crown of South West Victoria.

Everyone's welcome to join FREE FUN

CHRISTMAS EVE

Friday, December 24, FREE on Village Green, Giant Slide, Kiddies Slide & Merry-Go-Round from 4.30pm, Louis the Balloon Boy, face painting with the Colour Angel, music by Port Fairy Citizens Band, Port Singers’ Choir, spinning wheels, Traders’ barbecue, drawing of competitions. Santa will arrive at 7.30pm.

NEW YEAR'S EVE

FREE entertainment provided by The Standard and the 3YB/Coast FM Moyneyana Festival Committee, Live Band Bushwahzee 5.30pm-7.30pm on the Village Green.
Rotary Backward Sprint Championships – 7.30pm.
Registration 10.30am, heats Southcombe Park
Moyneyana Street Procession (theme is “Port Fairy Carnivale”) begins at 8pm followed by live music with The Streamliners backing The Real Sisters on the Village Green plus a midnight fireworks spectacular.
